Hey, There’s Celebrities Playing with my Sex Toys!

Well so far I haven’t seen that darn article in Forbes.  I think maybe the journalist was looking for some kind of racy story about the buckets of money we’re making while the world spins in financial turmoil.  Sorry, we’re not rolling in dough.  But we are rolling in celebrities!

Who needs Forbes when you have all these MTV babes and Real House Wives of Orange County playing with your sex toys, right?

The photo on the right shows Busy Phillips and Jennifer Carpenter playing with the Grrl Toyz Pink Plush Wrist Cuffs.  The expression on their faces make it all worth while.  That is what making sex toys is all about!  The suprise, the excitement, the fun!

I have to admit, it is satisfying to see the products I’ve made in the hands of TV stars and featured in magazines and television shows and websites.  To think, I designed those toys and now they’re famous!

Forbes Magazine Might Write About Our Dildo Factory!

I have received a lot of interview requests over the years.  Journalists seem to love writing about sex toys!  That’s why it was no suprise when our Marketing and PR Director, Desiree Duffie, told me that a journalist writing a story for Forbes Magazine contacted us.  Not suprising, but still exciting!

The writer, Dan Levin, is curious about the sex toy industry during this tough economy.  It is pretty rough right now.  This sex toy industry is taking some hits just like any other.  Though Topco Sales has managed to do okay, it is still a tough time.

Mr. Levin also spoke with Diane Duke from the Free Speech Coalition.  On the bright side there is some political movement in the United States on the legality of sex toys.  That certainly helps the industry out a bit.

What does the future hold for the sex toy industry?  Despite the sluggish economy it will stay strong.  Sex toys are becoming more and more acceptable.  Right here in China you see shops popping up and retailers selling toys.  You never saw that before. 

As people’s minds and social views continue to open, the market will continue to expand.  That’s what I see in the future!
